FIT Fashion Design Department had the Opening Ceremony of the AAS (Associate in Applied Science) Exhibition on Friday, June 10. This exhibition features the beautiful garments made by eighteen graduating students from the FD department at the SUNY Korea Museum of Modern Costume. This year, the students worked on their pieces inspired by the works of Andre Kim and Kyungja Choi, Korea’s top designers,which are kept in the storage of the Seoul Museum of Craft Art.
During this ceremony, President Lee, Prof. Leonard Bess and Prof. Bonkuk Koo each gave congratulatory remarks on the completion of the pieces and their graduation.
