Experience:

She was professionally trained at Parsons the New School for Design where she earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and a master’s degree in Global Fashion Management from Fashion Institute of Technology. She has been actively working in the fashion field as a professional fashion designer for various fashion brands and companies including Donna Karan Collection, Ralph Lauren, J.Crew, Tory Burch, Express, VF Corporation, and Jessica Simpson Collection. Also she is a co-founder of Rewindx Inc.

Major Achievements:

She and her fashion design works have enjoyed accolade and widespread recognition in the fashion field in the United States and overseas. Fashion products that have been produced based on her designs have been sold nationwide in the United States through retail, department, and online stores run by Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, Tory Burch, Express, VF Corporation, and Jessica Simpson Collection. In addition, being recognized for her expertise in fashion design, she also wrote fashion reviews and trend reports which were published in Céci magazine, which is a Korean fashion and lifestyle magazine with international circulation. Furthermore, she has been recognized in the fashion design field through her participations in fashion shows and design competitions. She won two Gold Awards in the 2018 International Design Awards (“IDA”), one each in the Accessory category and the Textile and Materials category, for her designs created for Rewindx Inc. The IDA has recognized and celebrated outstanding design visionaries worldwide each year since 2007. She was also the winner of the Fashion Designer of the Year by the IDA in 2012. Moreover she won the Best Designer Award in the Fusion Fashion Show in 2009; and, as a result, she presented her award- winning design collection during the opening of the 2010 Fusion Fashion Show. In addition, she won Sil Thread Award at the Design Competition organized by the Korean Apparel Manufacturers of Greater New York in 2011. After winning these design competitions, she has received enormous attention from the media and gained national and international acclaim through publications distributed in the United States, Korea, and Japan.
